Who can join Bakery?
Dispensaries operating under a SAHPRA licence or as a registered private cannabis club in South Africa. We verify every partner before they go live.
Can patients order on this website?
No. Menus, prices and ordering are only inside the Bakery app, after a patient has verified their ID and age. This website is for dispensaries.
How do payments and payouts work?
Patients pay by card in the app. The card is held when they order and charged when you accept. You receive the order value less Bakery's commission on the agreed settlement schedule.
Do I need my own drivers?
No. Bakery's driver pool delivers. If you'd rather, patients can also collect from your store with a collection code.
We use SCRMS. Do we have to retype our menu?
No. Import from SCRMS or a CSV export, review the changes, and keep stock in sync.
What about POPIA?
Patient data is stored in South Africa. You see what you need to fulfil an order (name, items, verified status), never ID images. Staff access is role-based and logged.
What does it cost?
Bakery charges a commission per completed order, set out in your partner agreement. There's no hardware to buy. Apply and we'll walk you through it.
